Established in 1999, Child Friendly Solutions was created out of a passion for retail by two mothers, Michelle and Anne. With corporate careers in marketing and retail, and growing young families, Michelle and Anne realized through their own experiences’ businesses were missing out on revenue because children acted as a distraction throughout the shopping process. And so, the original wall play panel was born. A safe, hygienic, inexpensive play solution, specifically designed for retail and commercial environments to entertain young children.

Other industries quickly realized the value of play and actively entertaining children as a simple way to maintain engagement with parents. Today our play solutions are found in hundreds of businesses and service organizations across Australia. You can find our play panels in waiting rooms and parents’ rooms of hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, shopping centers, police stations, libraries, community sports and leisure facilities, restaurants, government buildings, childcare centers and more.  We now export to countries including NZ, UK, USA and UAE. Our customers include Westfield, Toyota, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Maroochy RSL, Penrith Panthers, Queensland Health and Yura Yungi Medical Services.

Child Friendly Solutions has remained a small Australian-owned family business since its’ inception. It is now owned and operated by mother and daughter team, Pam and Kate, from the outskirts of Sydney. In 2020, Kate moved to Abu Dhabi with her young family,  and is currently opening the Middle East operations of Child Friendly Solutions.

An education professional of 40 years, Pam's 17 years as principal in special needs schooling brings with it a wealth of organisational, administrative and financial management skills. Skills that are much needed in the operation of a small business!

With her passion for education and children, Pam's role includes the enjoyable task of product development and sourcing. With such an in depth understanding of the industry, Pam will ensure products are suitable for both our clients needs and also the little ones we hope to entertain and engage in your places of business. 

Kate Campbell

General Manager

Kate has spent 15 years internationally in the field of event management, working with clients such as Toyota, Disney, FIFA and Formula 1. Kate's strong global networks ensure CFS has the right foundations for entering into new markets and the operational and logistical skills to meet increasing demands. 

In 2020, Kate returned to Abu Dhabi with her young family,  and is currently opening the Middle East operations of Child Friendly Solutions. However in today’s global world, it will still likely be Kate you receive an email from in response to your Australian inquiry or order!
